The Occupational Therapist is responsible for assessment, care planning, intervention, and outcome evaluation for residents, ensuring programs align with the organization's Person and Family Centered Care framework. This role involves working within an interdisciplinary team to maximize residents' functional potential in daily living activities.
Candidates must be currently registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists and align with the organization's vision for seniors' care, demonstrating strong critical thinking and communication skills. Experience in Long Term Care or Support Living settings and AADL authorization are preferred.

Under the direction and supervision of Director of Care and Clinical Manager, the Occupational Therapist will be responsible for assessment, care planning, rehab intervention and evaluation of outcomes for residents and the planning and implementation of rehabilitation programs, ensuring they are in accordance with Wing Kei’s Person and Family Centered Care framework and are aligned with our Vision, Mission and Core Values. The Occupational Therapist will work in the interdisciplinary team improve or maintain residents’ full potential of functioning in activities of daily living.
With the opening of our new Highland Park facility, this position may expand to Full Time status.
7.5 hours per shift, 4 days a week
