The role involves providing companionship and individualized physical and emotional care to seniors in the Adult Day Program, adhering to established care frameworks and standards. Key duties include assisting with personal care activities, observing and reporting client conditions, and supporting the implementation of recreation programs.
Candidates must hold a Health Care Aide Certificate as per Alberta guidelines or be deemed competent within six months, and be currently registered with the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory. Experience in an Adult Day Program is preferred, along with strong observation skills and a commitment to safety and respectful care practices.

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Care and Clinical Manager, you will support the Adult Day Program and its activities by providing companionship and care to seniors’ physical, and emotional needs in accordance with Wing Kei’s Person and Family Centred Care framework, aligned with our vision, mission and core values.
