The Social Worker supports pre-admissions and provides social support and counseling services to residents and their families, utilizing professional case management practices for assessment, coordination, and monitoring.
Candidates must have a recognized university degree in Social Work or equivalent and active registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers. A minimum of two years of experience in counseling or group work is required.
Under the direction and supervision of the Clinical Manager, the Social Worker is responsible for supporting the pre-admissions, and for the provision of social support and counseling service to residents and their family members in Wing Kei.
