The Licensed Practical Nurse provides safe, quality nursing care and implements the nursing process including assessments and care planning. They collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide cognitive, social, and emotional support to clients within a person-centered framework.
Candidates must hold a current CLPNA registration and a valid CPR (BCLS) certificate. Experience in long-term care or supportive living settings is preferred, along with strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
This position requires a valid Licensed Practical License regulated by CLHA (College for Alberta LPNs and HCAs).
Under the direction and supervision of Director of Care and Clinical Managers, the Licensed Practical Nurse will be playing a key role in providing safe and quality nursing practices within the standards of Practice developed by CLPNA, in accordance with Wing Kei’s Person and Family Centered Care framework that is aligned with our vision, mission and core values.
