Perform nutritional assessments and provide dietary recommendations for acute and post-acute patients across various hospital units. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to enhance patient nutritional well-being and supervise clinical nutrition students.
Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food and Nutrition and current registration with the College of Dietitians of Ontario. Completion of an internship and membership in the Dietitians of Canada are required, with 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred.
$41.68 - $53.28 Location: Humber River Health– Hennick Humber Hospital with some cross-coverage at the Reactivation Care Centre. Hours of work: Available to work rotating shifts (Monday to Friday). Availability to work weekends and statutory holidays may be required on occasion.
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Food and Nutrition. Current registration in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario. Completion of an internship program and a member (or eligibility to become a member) of the Dietitians of Canada. 1-2 years clinical experience is preferred. Experience in TPN an asset Excellent knowledge of clinical nutrition principles and evidence based nutrition practice Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, including an ability to encourage, support and motivate patients and/or their families from a multi-cultural community. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Able to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team. Ability to travel for cross-site coverage may be required. Access to a vehicle is an asset. Excellent attendance and discipline free record required. An understanding of equity, diversity, and inclusion principles as they relate to health practices is an asset.
