Provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and evidence-based treatments for patients in acute and post-acute care settings. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for discharge planning and provide clinical supervision to students and rehabilitation assistants.
Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. Previous experience in an acute care setting and membership in CAOT are preferred.
$40.36 - $56.30 per hour Employee Group: OPSEU 590 Site/Location: Primary assignment is at the Wilson site with cross coverage at Finch and Church RCC sites may be required.
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current registration in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario required. Membership in CAOT preferred. Previous occupational therapy in an acute setting experience is an asset. Demonstrated ability to manage a variety of tasks and work efficiently. Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to act as a valuable part of an interdisciplinary team. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills. Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability, creativity and resourcefulness. Excellent attendance and discipline free record required. An understanding of equity, diversity, and inclusion principles as they relate to health practices is an asset.
