Permanent Casual Position. Includes Weekdays, Evenings and Weekends. The Casual Direct Support Professional provides call-in or back-fill support for the 3 programs within the Bradford Community. Hourly $22.99 CAD Opportunity

Casual direct support professional

The Relief Support provides call-in or back-fill support to people supported. They assist with activities of daily living and work within the protocols of the location. They work with other employees on shift to provide supports and services to people. Working within Karis Disability Services Service Principles, the Relief Support considers each person’s intrinsic value.

Requirements

• Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check
• Access to reliable transportation
• G licence

Preferred

• 3-6 Months Experience (volunteer or employment)
• Developmental Services Worker, Child and Youth Worker, or post-secondary education in a related field
