Part-Time Direct Support Professional Positions

Hourly Rate

$25.05

Closing Date: June 24, 2026

Approximate Start date: ASAP

Direct Support Professional (DSP) employees work with people who experience developmental disabilities as they live in their homes and communities. This position assists people in their daily life, working with them and their connections to ensure that they can live fully in the community. Direct Support Professionals recognize people's rights to direct their life, understanding that each person has unique gifts and needs, and they support people to learn skills for their own growth and development.

Skills Required

SSW, Recreational therapist, DSW or CYW Diploma
experience with Behaviour support plans. (BSP)
Current/Valid G license and able to drive.
Candidates will be working across multiple sites all over the Greater Sudbury Area
Computer
Skills: Windows, Word, Excel, Email, etc.
Must build rapport and have a professional working relationship with the police, fire support, EMS and hospitals.
Full G License required

Current Safe Management
Current First Aid/CPR

The successful candidate will be selected based on Article 12.03 of the UFCW Sudbury Bargaining Unit Collective Agreement.
