Provide daily life assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities within their homes and communities. Support clients in learning new skills and exercising their rights to live fully and independently.
Preferred candidates have a background as a Developmental Services Worker, Child and Youth Worker, or hold post-secondary education in a related field. Applicants must be able to complete a video interview and a realistic job preview.
Direct Support Professional (DSP) employees work with people who experience developmental disabilities as they live in their homes and communities. This position assists people in their daily life, working with them and their connections to ensure that they can live fully in the community. Direct Support Professionals recognize people's rights to direct their life, understanding that each person has unique gifts and needs, and they support people to learn skills for their own growth and development.
