Job description

POSITION DEPENDANT ON APPROVAL OF FUNDING. Canada Summer Jobs Temporary Position (Approx. 8-12 weeks). Richmond Hill, ON - 30 hours/wk. Approx. Start Date: June 22, 2026 Hourly $21.59 CAD Must meet the requirements of the Canada Summer Jobs program.

Seasonal direct support professional

The Seasonal Direct Support Professional assists with activities of daily living and promotes the implementation of person- centered plans. They work in cooperation with their work team and complete administrative duties as assigned. They seek to promote Karis Disability Services’ Service Principles by enhancing relationships, promoting citizenship, celebrating people’s gifts, recognizing self-determination, encouraging growth and development, and recognizing the need for holistic supports in a manner that considers each person’s intrinsic value.

The Seasonal Direct Support Professional will respect and uphold the Values, Vision and Mission of Karis Disability Services, demonstrating the highest standards of courtesy and respect in their dealings with other employees, people who use our services and both internal and external stakeholders.
