Document and communicate appropriate information to the Occupational Therapist and/or Physiotherapist.
Communicate necessary information with other health team members to ensure best possible patient care.

Work under the direction and supervision of an Occupational Therapist and/or Physiotherapist as part of an interdisciplinary care team
Requirements summary
Secondary School Diploma or Equivalent required.
Rehabilitation Assistant Program; dual trained OTA/PTA program certification mandatory.
Acute care experience as a Rehabilitation Assistant (OTA/PTA) preferred.

We are recruiting for a temporary part time (0.5FTE) Rehabilitation Assistant until approximately July 30, 2027. The successful candidate will support the RA role on Rotary Inpatient following a schedule of Monday - Friday -800-12:00, under the direction and supervision of an Occupational Therapist and/or Physiotherapist as part an interdisciplinary care team. Rehabilitation Assistants are responsible for documenting and communicating all appropriate information to the PT and OT they are working with and as necessary with other health team members, to ensure the best possible care is given to each patient as well as ensure safety for both personal and patient safety.
