CA$19 - CA$22 / HOUR
Provide safe basic care to patients, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with daily living activities. Coordinate with the Patient Care Team and float between various departments and facilities to ensure continuity of care.
Must be a Certified Nurses Assistant (CNA) with American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification. A high school diploma and 6 months of clinical healthcare experience are preferred.
Additional $0.50/hr. for floating to different facilities and departments.
The PCT/CNA-Float provides appropriate safe basic care to patients which includes taking vital signs, assisting patients with activities of daily living, specimen collection, and observation of patients for physical/emotional changes. Other duties include recording pertinent information in patient charts, communicating with other Patient Care Team members to ensure continuity of care, and may function in a role providing constant supervision to patients as needed. Duties may vary according to department expectations and needs. This position requires floating to various departments within the medical center. Must be willing to travel to different OSF facilities (Peru, Princeton, Mendota, Ottawa, and Streator)
Required qualifications: CNA-Certified Nurses Assistant CPR American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS
