• Caregiver (Attendant Care) Our clients are lovely individuals seeking care in Ottawa and nearby areas.
• After experiences of trauma such as motor vehicle accidents, complex medical diagnoses, or mental health, they are looking for support with: Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Engaging and ensuring clients safety at home or in the community while doing fun activities or hobbies.
• Other care tasks include: organization, meal preparation, transportation, emotional support, light housekeeping, and other daily tasks.
• You would be the ideal candidate to work with us if you are someone who is reliable, organized, and can work independently.
• Care is tailored to each person, so each position is unique.
• Some clients need mainly in-home support.
• Others require support participating in community activities.
• Whatever the circumstances, we want people who will genuinely care about their wellbeing.

Requirements

Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C Smartphone with a data plan Vulnerable Sector Check completed within the last 6 months Assets: University and/or College education in a related field Drivers License G class with access to a vehicle Hours: Flexible and client dependent scheduling options are available. Caregiver has full autonomy in organizing and managing their schedule and availability based on client matches. Rate of Pay: $23-$28/hour Why Choose Spark? Access to Spark University.
