• Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) Our clients are seeking healthcare professionals in Halifax and the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) areas with a passion for providing holistic care, and promoting independence to clients of all ages, conditions, in a variety of settings. Our clients are seeking care from professionals with a wide range of expertise. They rely on compassionate and dependable individuals to assist them with:
• Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs)
• Ensuring client safety while participating in community and home based activities
• Personal care including toileting and personal hygiene
• Client transfers
• Other care tasks include: organization, meal preparation, transportation, emotional support, light housekeeping, and other daily tasks

• You would be the ideal candidate to work with us if you are someone who is reliable, organized, and can work independently.
• Care is tailored to each person, so each position is unique.
• Some clients need mainly in-home support.
• Others require support participating in community activities.
• Whatever the circumstances, we want people who will genuinely care about their wellbeing.

Requirements

• Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C
• Registered as a CCA with the Nova Scotia CCA registry
• Vulnerable Sector Check completed within the last 6 months
• Smartphone with a data plan

Assets

• Valid Nova Scotia Class 5 Driver's License with access to a reliable

Hours

Flexible and client dependent scheduling options are available.

Caregiver has full autonomy in organizing and managing their schedule and availability based on client matches.

Rate of Pay: $23-$28/hour
