• Companion Care Worker #1326 Our client is a lovely individual seeking care in Pickering, Ontario.
• After experiences or difficulties, such as falls, dementia, mental health, or wanting to stay in their home longer, they are looking for personal care support and companionship throughout their days.
• Some of the duties can include, but are not limited to: Organizing and helping clients with their appointments.
• Meal preparation or grocery shopping.
• Engaging in leisure activities, hobbies, and helping with exercising.
• You would be the ideal candidate to work with us if you are passionate about helping people, are reliable, love working in a team, have professional experience providing support to seniors, and have experience with personal care.
• Care is tailored to each person, so each position is unique.
• Some clients need mainly in-home support.
• Others require support participating in community activities.
• Whatever the circumstances, we want people who will genuinely care about their wellbeing.

Requirements

Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C Smartphone with a data plan Vulnerable Sector Check completed within the last 6 months Fluent in Farsi or Kurdish Assets: University and/or College education in a related field Drivers License G class with access to a vehicle Hours: 5 hours/day for 5 days weekly, Flexible timing (12pm-5pm preferred) Rate of Pay: $28/hour (Travel pay of $25/shift may be available if the caregiver comes from a further location) Why Choose Spark?
