The Registered Nurse prepares pediatric and adult clients for medical imaging procedures and assists radiologists during these interventions. They are responsible for direct nursing care, monitoring client safety, and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team.
Candidates must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a nursing diploma and be registered with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan. At least one year of recent experience in CCU, Medical Imaging, Operating Room, or IR is required.

The Registered Nurse will function in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment. Responsibilities include education and preparation of clients (Pediatric and Adult) undergoing a variety of Medical Imaging procedures. The RN will assist the Radiologist/Specialist during procedures and perform direct nursing assessment and care as appropriate to ensure the safety of clients undergoing procedures. The RN will prepare for and respond to fluctuating workloads, unexpected critical situations, and the requirement to work in all modalities of Medical Imaging. The RN will collaborate with all members of the multi-disciplinary team to continually evaluate the clients care and condition while in the Medical Imaging Departments.
