The Outreach Worker provides proactive support and recovery services to women and children affected by systemic marginalization and substance use. They act as an advocate and relationship-builder to help clients build new skills and achieve their goals within a coordinated service delivery team.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of community outreach experience with hard-to-reach populations and a valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle. Knowledge of social determinants of health, harm reduction, and trauma-informed approaches is required.

Manito Ikwe Kagiikwe (MIK) supports women and children affected by systemic marginalization and substance use who have complex health and social needs. Functioning as part of a coordinated service delivery team, the Outreach Worker works proactively with new and existing clients, offering a range of support and recovery services, within an existing service plan and on an as-needed basis. The Outreach Worker is a relationship-builder and advocate and provides service in a non-judgmental and culturally appropriate manner, helping clients to build new skills and achieve their goals
Education Must have a Valid Drivers’ License and access to a reliable vehicle.
