Provide employment and vocational support to individuals with disabilities to help them integrate into their community and workplace. Perform administrative duties and promote the organization's service principles and core values.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate high standards of courtesy, respect, and integrity. The role requires a commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion for persons with disabilities.
The Employment Support Professional provides services to people in a vocational setting. They assist with activities in a workplace environment and provides employment supports to people working at their jobs and in their community. The Employment Support Professional ensures that people who experience disabilities belong to communities in which their God-given gifts are valued and respected.
They work in cooperation with their team and completes administrative duties as assigned. The Employment Support Professional seeks to promote Karis Disability Services’ Service Principles by enhancing relationships, promoting citizenship, valuing people’s gifts, recognizing self-determination, encouraging growth and development, and recognizing the need for holistic supports in a manner that considers each person’s intrinsic value.
The Employment Support Professional helps build communities of belonging in accordance to the core Values of Karis Disability Services; Valuing People, Fostering Belonging, Serving Others and Respecting Gifts.
