The role involves implementing comprehensive rehabilitation programs, including treadmill, laser, and massage therapy, while educating owners on home exercise plans. Additionally, the technician manages medical records, coordinates with referring veterinarians, and performs technical clinical skills.
Candidates should be a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT) with certification or enrollment in a rehab program (CCRT, CCRA, CCRP, or CCAT). A minimum of one year of experience as a rehabilitation practitioner is preferred, along with the physical ability to support large breed dogs.

Maritime Veterinary Emergency + Specialty Centre (MVESC) is seeking a Veterinary Rehabilitation Technician to join our growing rehabilitation team. We welcome applications from certified rehabilitation professionals as well as candidates currently completing a rehabilitation certification program (CCRT, CCRA, CCRP, or CCAT).
Our rehabilitation team collaborates closely with our board-certified Neurologist and Surgeon while also receiving referrals from veterinary practices throughout the region.
You'll work alongside a passionate team led by a veterinarian certified in TCVM Acupuncture, Rehabilitation, and Veterinary Chiropractic, supported by an RVT (CCAT) and a dedicated rehabilitation assistant.
