Must be a graduate of an approved Dental Assistant course and registered in the Province of Nova Scotia. A minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant is required.

Visit us today and check out www.novascotia.com to see why more people from across the globe are moving here.About the Opportunity Under the supervision of the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon and Health Services Manager in a highly stressful constant changing environment, the Dental Assistant provides service to maintain the efficient daily operation of the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Department. The Dental Assistant functions as a member of the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective care for patients receiving outpatient oral surgery under local and conscious intravenous sedation. Duties include surgical assisting, maintenance of a clean and organized environment, and adherence to appropriate infection control policies and procedures. Other duties include exposing and developing radiographs (x-rays), taking alginate impressions, and performing intra/extra oral photography of patient pre and post operative orthognathic, cleft lip and palate, trauma and oncology surgery for medical/dental irregularities for legal documentation and study purposes.About You We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
