The Registered Veterinary Technician will be responsible for triaging, assessing patients, obtaining vitals, providing critical nursing care, and monitoring hospitalized patients in an emergency setting. Key duties also involve running in-house lab tests, administering medications, performing radiography, and providing client education.
Candidates must be a Registered Veterinary Technician in good standing with the OAVT, possessing strong skills in anesthesia and multi-modal pain management, and proficiency in radiography and bandage changes. Excellent communication, teamwork abilities, and comfort with drug dosage calculations are essential for thriving in this fast-paced environment.
