Support the quality of life for adults in day programs and staffed homes by meeting their physical, social, and medical needs. Assist residents with activities of daily living and the development of essential life skills within a group setting.
Requires a Community Support Worker Certificate or equivalent experience, along with valid First Aid, CPR, and Food Safety certifications. Candidates must possess a driver's license and be able to obtain a Class 4 license and a satisfactory criminal record check.
As an integral part of the Community Living Team, you will support the quality of life for the persons served by ensuring that their physical, social, vocational, educational and medical needs are met. You will also participate in the implementation of all aspects of the participants' program, including agency policies, procedures and philosophy. You will assist residents to live successfully in group settings such as group homes and ensure that their needs are met. You will also help enhance the residents’ quality of life with activities of daily living and the development of life skills.
