The Behavioural Therapist provides evidence-based assessments and implements Behaviour Support Plans for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They provide coaching and training to staff and families to promote positive behavioural outcomes and quality of life.
Requires a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Behavioural Science, Psychology, or a related field, along with 1-2 years of experience in behavioural support. Candidates must possess a valid BC Driver's Licence and various certifications including First Aid and Crisis Intervention.
The Behavioural Therapist provides evidence‑based behavioural assessment and intervention services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who experience complex or challenging behaviors. Working within a person‑centred framework, the Behavioural Therapist supports the development, implementation, and monitoring of Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) and provides coaching and training to staff, families, and contractors to promote positive behavioural outcomes and quality of life.
