The Behavioural Therapist provides evidence-based assessments and implements individualized Behaviour Support Plans for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They also provide coaching and training to staff and families to promote positive behavioural outcomes.
Requires a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Behavioural Science, Psychology, or a related field, along with 1-2 years of experience in behavioural support. Candidates must possess a valid BC Driver's Licence and various certifications including First Aid and CPI.
The Behavioural Therapist provides evidence‑based behavioural assessment and intervention services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who experience complex or challenging behaviors. Working within a person‑centred framework, the Behavioural Therapist supports the development, implementation, and monitoring of Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) and provides coaching and training to staff, families, and contractors to promote positive behavioural outcomes and quality of life.
