Provide health education and holistic care to clients within an interdisciplinary team, focusing on wellness and chronic disease management. Design and deliver programming that fosters resilience and emotional safety using harm-reduction and trauma-informed approaches.
Must be registered with the Manitoba College of Social Workers, possess a valid class 5 driver's license, and have at least five years of social work experience. Requires a minimum of three years of experience in addictions, mental health, crisis intervention, and cognitive behavioral therapy.

Social Workers provide health education and care within their scope of practice for clients within their respective programs. As a member of a client-centered interdisciplinary team, the Social Worker provides care to individuals promoting wellness, prevention of disease and/or disability and the management of chronic diseases/conditions. The Social Worker adopts a long-term approach to client care consistent with the philosophy of harm-reduction and as a means to ensuring continuity of care for the client.
This position places a strong emphasis on trauma support and recovery. The role involves designing and delivering programming that fosters resilience, emotional safety, and empowerment, while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support holistic recovery pathways.
