The Physiotherapist assesses and implements physical therapy interventions for residents with complex mental health and cognitive conditions to promote functional independence. This includes collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop goal-oriented treatment plans and providing recommendations for environmental modifications.
Candidates must be graduates of an approved Canadian Physiotherapy program and hold active registration with the Alberta College of Physiotherapists. Experience with dementia, mental health conditions, and MDS/RAI in long-term care settings is preferred.
