The role involves performing audiological assessments, fitting and dispensing hearing instruments, and providing regular client follow-ups. The practitioner is also responsible for assistive listening device recommendations and aural rehabilitation.
Candidates must hold a Master's Degree in Audiology or a Hearing Practitioner Certification. Registration and good standing with the applicable Provincial College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists is required.
