The role involves delivering excellent client care by completing audiological assessments, hearing instrument evaluations, fittings, dispensing, and regular follow-up, while also maintaining professional credentials and potentially supervising staff or students. Responsibilities extend to participating in company marketing initiatives and making presentations to community groups within the regional area.
Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Audiology or Hearing Practitioner Certification and must be registered and in good standing with the applicable Provincial College. Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential requirements for this position.
Complete audiological assessments Assistive Listening Device recommendations Hearing instrument evaluations Hearing instrument fittings and dispensing Regular client follow-up and hearing instrument rechecks Cerumen management (if within scope of practice) Counselling and Aural Rehabilitation Diagnostic testing for an ENT (if applicable)
Master’s Degree in Audiology or Hearing practitioner Certification Registered and in good standing with applicable Provincial College of Audiologists and Speech and Language Pathologists or professional associations Excellent interpersonal communication skills Ability to work in a collegial team
