Treatment goals are determined collaboratively with our clients and funders and include self-care, home management, community engagement and a return to work.
Occupational Therapists within our Complex Auto program assess and treat clients presenting with various physical (musculoskeletal, orthopaedic), cognitive (TBIs, concussions) and psychosocial impairments related to motor vehicle accidents. Working in a community setting, we guide our clients through every step of their recovery.
In our Traumatic Psychological Injury program, Occupational Therapists work with first responders who’ve experienced trauma in the workplace, conducting in vivo exposure therapy and facilitating trauma processing, coping and return to function.
