The Social Services Planner will research, plan, and coordinate community-based activities to support the needs and self-determination of service users. They will also facilitate meetings, maintain community relationships, and assist individuals in pursuing educational, volunteer, and employment opportunities.
Candidates must be between 18-30 years old, hold Canadian citizenship or permanent residency, and possess a satisfactory vulnerable sector police check. Preferred qualifications include enrollment or graduation in a related field such as Recreation and Community Development or Developmental Social Services.
The Seasonal Social Services Planner plans, coordinates, builds partnerships, and assesses activities that meet the needs and interests of the people who use our services recognizing and encouraging self-determination through various networking, recreational, and community functions.
