The Position The Support Worker contributes to a safe, supportive, and inclusive living environment by supporting tenants and guests with daily living, encouraging independence, and promoting community connections.
Working collaboratively with housing, maintenance, janitorial, and kitchen staff, the position collaborates with the team to provide direct tenant and guest support, communicates safety concerns, and contributes to a respectful, team-based environment.
Overview •
High school completion required.
At least one year of employment experience.
Knowledge of the Housing First model and harm reduction practices.
Familiarity with mental health, addiction services, and community resources.
Successful Vulnerable Sector Check and/or Criminal Record Check required.
Ability to remain alert and perform tasks in a demanding environment.
Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work 12-hour day and night shifts
