Position Overview Under the general supervision of the Manager or Pathology/Hematology Supervisor, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of Shared Health, the Secretary is responsible for: performing various secretarial duties related to the Laboratory Services, to include: typing/word processing, arranging meetings, attending meetings and recording minutes; assembling budget information and sending out computerized billings; maintaining weekly payroll cards, filing, photocopying, assembling teaching materials; and performing other related duties as assigned. Experience Two (2) years related secretarial experience, preferably in a heath care setting. Computer software experience, including word processing experience.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Grade 12. Successful completion of a recognized medical secretarial program including medical terminology.
