The Pharmacist will cover the PM medical/radiation oncology patients with cross coverage to the palliative and short stay units. This role also includes centralized dispensary pharmacy support for evenings and weekends, including CIVA shifts in the inpatient cleanroom, and on call coverage. The pharmacist will work in challenging clinical practices requiring extensive collaboration with well-developed multidisciplinary team, innovation, creativity and compassion. You are expected to have the knowledge, skills, and expertise to work with varied specialized patient populations, for both standard-of-care and clinical trials.

Completion of university degree (Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Pharmacy) or PharmD, or equivalent required Certificate of competency from the Pharmacy Examination Board of Canada required Active registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (Part A) required Hospital pharmacy residency an asset Clinical experience with patient-centered care in oncology would be an asset Membership in the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists an asset Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and time management skills
