Salary Range

$80,703.86 - $91,936.08 annually Close Date 7/7/2026 Job Type Regular Full Time Temporary End Date Ministry/Organization BC Public Service -> Health Ministry Branch / Division Health System Policy and Oversight/Audit and Investigations Job Summary The Team The Billing Integrity Team (BIP) is an established, collaborative group dedicated to ensuring fairness and sustainability in the Medical Services Plan. The team includes a Senior Director, Audit Manager, two Team Leads, six Senior Auditors, and two Administrative staff, working closely with medical consultants, legal counsel, and data analysts. Together, they make a real impact by recovering ineligible payments and supporting the long-term sustainability of health services. The Role Join us in making a real impact on B.C.’s health care system. In this role, you’ll take on complex billing reviews that protect fairness and accuracy, helping recover ineligible payments and ensure the long-term sustainability of the Medical Services Plan. Qualifications

  • Education and Experience Requirements
  • Chartered Professional Accountant designation (CPA ­ CA, CGA or CMA) in good standing with at least 2 years of recent related experience. OR
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field, a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), in good standing, AND at least 2 years of recent, related experience.
  • An equivalent combination of education and recent, related experience may be considered.
  • A valid BC Class 5 Driver’s Licence is required. Recent, related experience means the following:
  • Recent is defined as within the last 4 years.
  • Audit and/or accounting experience. For example, experience working with accounting principles, auditing standards, information technology and management auditing.
  • Completing analysis of large volumes of raw data.
