Working collaboratively across the natural resource sector, the team partners with First Nations and community organizations and works alongside the Wildlife and Ecosystem teams in delivering stewardship, habitat, and monitoring initiatives that inform sustainable management. Grounded in teamwork and inclusivity, this team plays a key role in a region that supports over one third of BC’s angling activity and contributes significantly to the local economy. The Role: As a Fish Biologist, you play a hands-on role in protecting and restoring BC’s fisheries—turning science into action that shapes conservation, recovery, and responsible recreational use. From leading field studies and analyzing data to guiding mitigation strategies and advising decision-makers, your work directly influences how ecosystems are managed on the ground. Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Biological Sciences or a related field and two (2) years of related experience. Related Experience:
