Requirements summary
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program or University with a clinical Master's in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent).
Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
MoCA certification.
Recent OT experience working in an acute care and/or rehabilitation setting.
Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of OT role and scope in acute care.
Knowledge of acute care OT assessments, outcome measures, and interpretation.

We are currently seeking a Temporary part time (0.4FTE) Occupational Therapist (as of August 24, 2027 to approximately March 13, 2028) to support acute inpatient needs on the Inpatient Orthopedic Surgery Unit (SSCU). The successful candidate would be flexible, adaptable, and bring OT-specific acute care experiences and skills to support mid week and weekend support, with an emphasis on assessments of function, activities of daily living, cognition, delirium and interprofessional collaboration. As a qualified candidate you will have the following job requirements: Education:
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program or University with a clinical Master's in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)- Required.
Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario

Member of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists - Preferred
Evidence of continuing education in acute care - Preferred Experience:
Recent Occupational Therapy experience working in an acute care and/or rehabilitation setting.
A strong theoretical and practical knowledge of OT role and scope in promoting functional independence and occupational performance in an acute care setting.
Knowledge of community services, supports, and equipment preferred.
Experience with acute care OT assessments, outcome measures and interpretation to support goal setting and patient flow.
