Position Summary
Join our team at Northern Health as a Health Information Management Practitioner, where your analytical skills and attention to detail will help transform health data into meaningful insights that support quality care across our communities. In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Executive Lead or designate, the Health Information Management Practitioner performs technical functions such as interpreting and abstracting data, scoring data by injury, entering data into computer, compiling statistical data, performing statistical analysis, generating a variety of reports as directed, communicating with internal and external personnel regarding data retrieval and interpretation, processing approved release of data requests, providing input into the review and revision of policies and procedures, and participating on various committees and in designated projects as assigned.
