Pharmacy Technicians are responsible for the safe distribution of medications, including sterile and non-sterile compounding and completing medication histories. They also manage pharmacy automations and collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Candidates must have completed a college-level Pharmacy Technician Program and be registered with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (RPhT). Strong communication, computer skills, and the ability to perform physical tasks like lifting and standing are required.
Completion of a college level Pharmacy Technician Program required (accredited college level Pharmacy Technician Program preferred) Registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists as a Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, detail oriented, communication, teamwork, problem-solving and organizational skills Strong computer skills Proven ability to follow specific instructions with a high degree of accuracy Demonstrated initiative and judgment appropriate for the role. Self-directed in seeking out pharmacy issues within the healthcare team Demonstrated commitment to professional development Proven ability to perform the physical requirements of the position which may include standing for extended periods of time, moderate lifting and pushing carts

CSW2626-E2: Alternating Saturdays and Sundays: 9am to 4pm
