The nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care within the Emergency Department. They must integrate quality improvement principles and lean methodology to provide safe, patient-centered nursing care.
Requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a Psychiatric Nursing diploma and one year of experience in an Emergency Room. Mandatory certifications include Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
