The Post Majority Care Worker provides culturally grounded and holistic support to Indigenous youth transitioning from care into adulthood. Key duties include developing individualized transition plans and collaborating with child welfare agencies to ensure smooth service transfers.
Requires post-secondary education in Social Work, Psychology, or a related human services field. Candidates must have 2-3 years of experience working with Indigenous youth and families, preferably in child welfare or advocacy.

The Post Majority Care Worker will be part of Atikameksheng Anishnawbek Family Advocacy Team and will carry out similar functions to a Band Representative as outlined in the Child, Youth and Family Services Act (CYFSA) as it relates to youth in care. The position will provide culturally grounded, holistic, and strengths-based support to Atikameksheng Anishnawbek youth transitioning out of care into adulthood.
