The Laboratory Technician supports daily microbiology lab operations by preparing and processing clinical specimens. Key duties include maintaining lab equipment, managing supplies, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Candidates must have completed an accredited Lab Technician program and hold or be willing to obtain OSMT/CSMLS certification. Proficiency in aseptic techniques and experience with laboratory information systems are required.

The Microbiology Laboratory Technician is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Microbiology lab by preparing and processing clinical specimens, maintaining lab supplies and equipment, and performing routine laboratory duties. The technician ensures that samples are handled accurately and efficiently in compliance with quality, safety, and infection control standards.
