Physician Assistants collect and interpret medical information to make clinical decisions and perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. They practice medicine within a formalized relationship with a Physician and are regulated by the CPSS.
Candidates must have an accredited PA degree, PA-C certification through NCCPA or CCPA through PACCC, and licensure with the CPSS. Proficiency in English and a valid Criminal Record Check are also required.
Physician Assistants (PAs) are academically and clinically educated medical generalists who practice medicine within a formalized relationship with a Physician. Regulated by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS), PAs collect and interpret medical information, make appropriate clinical decisions, and carry out diagnostic and therapeutic interventions within a formalized Physician/PA relationship agreement approved by the CPSS.
