The RPN establishes therapeutic relationships with patients and families to assess health needs and plan care. They are responsible for implementing and evaluating patient care within a complex continuing care environment.
Must be a Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario and hold a current BLS certification. Proficiency in electronic patient records and the ability to administer IV medications are required.

The successful candidate must be available to work all tours applicable to the department in accordance with the availability and non-availability requirements outlined in the OPSEU Service Collective Agreement. In addition, this position must be flexible to occasional changes in hours when required to meet the operational needs of the department.
