Provide case management services to promote and restore the mental health of individuals with long-term psychiatric disabilities. Deliver care within a rehabilitation program team while adhering to SHA policies and the Mental Health Services Act.
Requires a Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing or an acceptable nursing diploma and five years of experience in mental health. Must hold a valid Class 5 driver's license, BCLS certification, and registration with the CRPNS or CRNS.

The primary purpose of this position is to provide case management services that promote, preserve and restore the mental health of people who have a long term psychiatric disability through leadership, care and service. The Community Mental Health Nurse is a member of a team which delivers services in the rehabilitation program. This person is accountable to SHA policies and guidelines, accepted standards of nursing practice and professional ethics and the Mental Health Services Act.
