The Registered Nurse prepares pediatric and adult clients for medical imaging procedures and assists radiologists during these interventions. They are responsible for direct nursing assessment, managing fluctuating workloads, and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure patient safety.
Candidates must be a graduate of an approved School of Nursing and have at least one year of recent clinical experience in Critical Care, MI, OR, or IR. Registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) is required.

The Registered Nurse will function in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment. Responsibilities include education and preparation of clients (Pediatric and Adult) undergoing a variety of Medical Imaging procedures. The RN will assist the Radiologist/Specialist during procedures and perform direct nursing assessment and care as appropriate to ensure the safety of clients undergoing procedures. The RN will prepare for and respond to fluctuating workloads, unexpected critical situations, and the requirement to work in all modalities of Medical Imaging. The RN will collaborate with all members of the multi-disciplinary team to continually evaluate the client's care and condition while in the Medical Imaging Departments.
