The Registered Nurse A is responsible for maintaining high standards of patient care in accordance with SHA philosophy. This includes the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of comprehensive client-centered care.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a Nursing/Psychiatric Nursing diploma and be registered with the CRNS or CRPNS. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and a valid Class 5 driver's license.

The Registered Nurse A is responsible to the Nursing Unit Manager or Director of Nursing. The Registered Nurse A is responsible for maintaining a high standard of patient care in accordance with the vision, mission and philosophy of the SHA. As a member of the Nursing department, the Registered Nurse A has the responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive client centred care.
