Requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Master of Nurse Practitioner, and at least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse. Candidates must hold a valid Class 5 driver's license and be registered or eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan.

Nurse blends an in-depth knowledge of nursing with the legal authority and autonomy to order diagnostic tests, prescribe pharmaceuticals and perform specific procedures in the management and treatment of common acute illnesses and stable chronic conditions patients. Position practices within a framework of evidence-based primary care, holism, health promotion, and disease and injury prevention. Practice involves building partnerships with individuals, families, and communities.
