Job Description

Under the direction of the Manager of Nursing, the RN will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care for Orthopedics.

• Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)

• Other Education and Training
• Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
• Nursing diploma is acceptable

• Knowledge and Abilities
• Communication skills to provide/obtain verbal and/or written opinions/advice
• Knowledge of nursing principles, methods and techniques in Orthopedics.
• Ability to communicate with clients from diverse backgrounds
• Knowledge is commonly obtained through previous experience in Orthopedics.
• Experience in nursing services relating to the care of surgery patients
• Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
• Ability to competently use computers and software applications
