The Mental Health Counsellor provides a range of mental health services to community members, including individuals, families, and groups. Responsibilities include assessing clients' needs, developing treatment plans, and implementing counselling interventions.
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or Clinical Psychology and be registered with a relevant professional body. Additionally, two years of related experience in community-based mental health services is required.

Takla Landing is a beautiful remote community in north-central British Columbia. Located 195 km north of Fort St. James on the eastern shore of Takla Lake within Takla First Nation’s traditional territory and features stunning lakes, rivers, forests, and mountains.
The target hiring range for this position is $39.7452 to $51.471 per hour. Candidates will typically be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the wage range. Placement within the wage range is dependent on the applicants’ role specific knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience and in consideration of factors such as market conditions and internal equity.
