Perform and monitor clinical and research sleep studies, including PSGs, MWTs, and MSLTs, while ensuring participant safety. Collect accurate study data and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with AASM standards and research protocols.
Candidates should be registered or unregistered Sleep Technicians, preferably with RPSGT or RST certification and experience with Alice system software. Must be medically trained to respond to critical events and skilled in operating PSG and EEG equipment.
We’re looking for a Sleep Technician to perform and monitor clinical and research sleep studies. In this role, you’ll ensure participant safety and comfort, collect accurate study data, and support the research team in compliance with study protocols and industry standards. What you'll do Prepare participants for sleep studies, attaching sensors/electrodes and ensuring comfort and safety Perform and evaluate overnight PSGs, MWTs, and occasionally MSLTs during the day Conduct research studies per protocol, including EEGs, ensuring compliance with AASM standards and sponsor requirements Continuously monitor participant sleep patterns, vital signs, and responses, making real-time adjustments Operate and troubleshoot PSG, EEG, ECG, and plethysmography equipment and software Respond appropriately to critical or life-threatening events during study visits Maintain accurate study documentation and patient records Clean and disinfect equipment and monitor for adverse events in accordance with protocol Work flexible schedules to accommodate study visit windows You Might Be a Great Fit If You: Are an unregistered or registered Sleep Technician (RPSGT or RST preferred) Have experience with Alice system or other PSG software Are skilled in performing PSGs, EEGs, ECGs, plethysmography, and troubleshooting equipment Can maintain accurate documentation and adhere to research protocols and regulatory standards Are medically trained to assess and respond to critical patient events Communicate effectively with participants, staff, and study teams Are organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
